The deputy prime minister of the Russian government is pushing his man into Rosgeologiya.
The struggle for ecology the ecological block of the government (and in fact the block of access to natural resources) continues. And it continues in one gate – Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev is shoving his staff into all the agencies he supervises. Now he wants to take over the state holding Rosgeologiya, putting there the first deputy chairman of the board of Rosselkhozbank, Kirill Levin.
But only last year the current head of Rosgeologiya, Sergei Radkov, was put on the farm by the efforts of Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Trutnev, Minister of Natural Resources Alexander Kozlov and their common friend oligarch Vladimir Potanin. However, Radkov’s work did not go well, he managed to mark only a series of defaults and begging for money from the federal treasury. With such “successes,” no one will even have time to regret the change of management at Rosgeologiya. But it remains to be seen what Levin will be able to do in his new position, since the holding is in a crisis state and there is a lot to sort out.
Vice-Premier Patrushev will not stop at seizing Rosgeologiya. By the fall, the issue of resignation of the head of the Ministry of Natural Resources Alexander Kozlov should be resolved. And, as we were told, Svetlana Radionova, head of Rosprirodnadzor, is a candidate for this position, as she has allegedly settled everything with both Patrushev and her chief curator Igor Sechin.
