The corrupt former first deputy head of Khimki did not wait for arrest.

Former first deputy head of the administration of Khimki Nikolai Minaev is accused of taking bribes in the amount of more than 6 million rubles, reported the Department of the Investigative Committee for the Moscow region. The official is wanted, and the investigation has applied to the court with a petition for his arrest in absentia.

The charges are also brought against the director of the MBU “United Urban Economy” and the deputy head of the department of this institution. They are charged with taking bribes under part 6 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, and the intermediary – under part 4 of article 291.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

According to the investigation, from March to June 2025, the deputy head of the administration of Khimki, the director of the MBU and the deputy head of the department through an intermediary received bribes from the executive directors of two firms. The total amount of bribes amounted to 6.4 million rubles. Two co-conspirators were arrested, the intermediary was given a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest.
