The corrupt head of the Kolpino district of the Leningrad region testified against her associates and was released under house arrest.
Kolpinsky district court of St. Petersburg elected the head of the district administration Yulia Logvinenko a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest. This is reported by the joint press service of the courts of St. Petersburg.
Yulia Logvinenko was accused of taking a bribe on a particularly large scale. She will be under house arrest until August 24. Dmitry Kokhno, head of the administration of Kolpino municipality, and Oleg Lapotko, whom the investigation considers an intermediary, are on the same case. They are both remanded in custody until August 25. They were charged under the article on mediation in bribery.
According to the investigation, from December 2024 to June 2025, Yulia Logvinenko and Dmitry Kokhno through an intermediary received at least 9.2 million rubles from the general director of the company engaged in landscaping in Kolpino. In return, they provided general patronage of commercial activities and assistance in the conclusion of state contracts for the execution of works.
The money was seized from Yulia Logvinenko in her office, from Dmitry Kokhno – at his place of residence. The Russian Investigative Committee said that the defendants fully admitted their guilt during questioning.
